It's still a lot less plastic and a hell of a lot more environmentally friendly than a plastic bottle.

GLASS is safe. That's why I only buy soda's in glass bottles.

If you examine the inside of most aluminum cans in the USA, like soda cans, and ALSO like tomato cans, fruit cans, juice cans, etc...you will discover that npowadays most all of these vessels are lined with a very thin coat of plastic. Some cans you can see the plastic liner easily because it's pure white in color. Beverage cans usually use a clear plastic coating. ALL contain BisPhenolA or BPA.

This is why I sacrificed urban life for the country life in the hills of Vermont. I and my farm residents drink pure gravity fed spring water.

Or right out of the tap with Ariix's stainless still water bottle with a replacacle filter that filters out 50 gallons of water before you have to replace it. More cost effective than bottled water.

Yeah, with all this talk about the drawbacks of plastic, I don't understand why no one ever puts any serious thought into the obvious solution of just putting the fucking water into aluminum cans like they do with soda. Let the consumer decide what they want to drink their water out of.

People who made nestlé is taking to much water from our earth. 35 state in America have drought rivers and lakes. People all around the world because of emotion, gas,and oxygen. People don't know what to do.

Looks to me like they're talking about plastic bottles most of the time. So what about Water from a glass bottle? What about so called premium waters? and yes i can taste the difference too. I just don't like the taste of tabbed water. There are waters that taste great and some who don't. I don't like the taste of volvic for example.

there are lots of really important points in this video, but the whole thing is mixing together several issues: the non-renewability of petrochemical resources, contamination of goods for human consumption, contamination of the environment, culpability of commercial businesses and government in controlling quality. Some of these are quite separate issues that all just happen to apply to bottled water. They also apply to Cola, milk and all drinks provided in plastic. Water is not unique in this.
