This video is dedicated to my cousin Marquetta Antionette Washington. Her and her unborn baby were killed March 5, 2009 in Atmore, Alabama. She was only 19 years old. Below is the actual article on how she passed away.
Authorities Search For Suspect That Shot And Killed One, Injured Another

The Atmore Police Department is investigating a murder that left a 19-year old woman dead and a 26-year old man with serious injuries.
Atmore Police were called to the McRae Apartments at 10:18 Thursday night (March 5, 2009). They were responding to a domestic disturbance at the residence of Alice Evans located at 607 McRae Street, Apt. C-2. Upon arriving at the scene officers found two gunshot victims inside the residence.
Police say Marquetta A. Washington, 19, was pronounced dead at the scene by ambulance personnel. Washington was the daughter of Alice Evans and living at the residence with her mother.
Washington was a few months pregnant and her boyfriend, Tony Hudson, was also wounded. He suffered from gunshot wounds to the chest and was transported to University of South Alabama Medical Center in Mobile.
Ferrell Purdue, 44, is the person of interest in this case.
Ferrell Purdue had been in a relationship with Marquetta Washinton's mother and the mother was attempting to end the relationship.
Evidence indicates that Purdue forced himself inside the residence by breaking a window in the front living room area of the apartment, then entered through the broken window and shot Hudson and Washington at close range with a long barrel gun.
Alice Evans was in the house at the time of the break-in but escaped unharmed through the same window Purdue had broken. Her daughter Marquetta Washington was found in her bedroom and Tony Hudson was found in the living/dinning room area. Hudson was listed in stable but critical condition at the time of transfer. The body of Marquetta Washington will be turned over to the Department of Forensic Science in Mobile for examination.

Truth be told....there is a lot of undiagnosed mental illness in black american communities. This is a perfect example of mental illness undiagnosed and unchecked. It resulted in this woman's death. The shooter needed help. The problem is though, black people are in major denial about mental illness and do not seek professional help for fear of being labeled crazy, koo koo, 'white', etc....A lot of mental disorders or illnesses are biological and can be treated.

Who the hell has the right to take an innocent life? For petty sake she was

only 19 and killed! What the hell is the matter with people today?

God, that's so terrible. I hate murder reports, it's so depressing, especially a

teen, when highschool kids are sobbing on eachother and feeling bad.

That should never be a burden on the hearts of teens! Its not fair and not right.
