I've had 6 Ridgebacks since 1979. Every one of them loved/loves this kind of horsing around. They are very good at knowing who is a threat and what to do. My first dog caught a prowler by the ass cheek and held him until I told him to let go. All Rhodies are serious protection, especially the females.

ridgebacks are called lion dogs because they, well, hunt lions. if he really wanted to he would not have said a Bark, it ould have been over. have you ever been tackled by a ridgeback? stepmom ahd one, and she could put me down at will. im 250 + and she was 110. amazing animals.
