HAHA!!! Toby as PJ is probably my 2nd favorite character next to Gizzy. (Just saw him in Jane Eyre *swoon*) Great job! I especially like the "next day" part when you edited it so that Gisborne plays Hiss the snake. :)

@mrdropkicker1 to get the right series go ti wikipedia and type in "Robin Hood (2006 TV series)" I'd post the direct link but Youtube won't let me :-(
-
@mrdropkicker1 The series is "Robin Hood". I know there are a few versions but this version is the TV series aired from 2006 to 2009. Prince John only appears in a few episodes of Series 3 but Toby Stephens does it brilliantly. The highlight of Series 3.....seriously. Go and watch this, especially Series 3 which is by far the best of the 3. :-)

@ecco1983 However one must take into account that the crucades were completely voluntary and most had to go into debt to fight them. I find it facinating that Richard the 1st (while he was a good ambicious catholic and king) is so well thought of but the crusades are condemned. By the way, what is this series, it looks awesome.

Richard I "The Lionhearted" only spoke one language, and it wasen't english. And he never lived in England, he lived in Aquitaine his whole life. John however was the first Norman King of England to be born and to die in England.
-
Ok, little slip of the tongue. I´m sorry. I´m human! Anyway, what is true is that Robin Hood tales were inspired by the conflict between Saxons and Norman. And if Prince John was unpopular, yes he was VERY unpopular, no doubt about that but like I said he instructed the rule that prevents the law from keeping you in bars for secula seculorum. And thanks for the correction. You will never go to bed without something new you´ve learned.

@GusCGC ...to be fair though, cultural depiction of Richard is pretty rose-tinted compared to the truth. For one thing, John did tas the country as depicted but Rochard started it by rasising taxes to fund his Crusade to the Holy Lands. However, if you read up on it, it is true that John was unpopular during his reign as Prince Regent (and later, as King).
-
@GusCGC Who taught you history? The Richard referred to in Robin Hood is Richard the 1st (8 September 1157 – 6 April 1199) who was King from 1189 until his death (although he spent most of that reign out of the country). The Prince John in question was his brother (24 December 1166 – 18/19 October 1216: so I don't see how 100 years separated them!) and whilst Richard fought overseas, John was Prince Regent in his stead and ruled the country.....
-
Actually King Richard and John never met, around one hundred years separate them! Ok, so John was not a brilliant monarch but thanks to him we have a rule so that the police cannot held us forever. And yes, Richard was an awful king. But disney version rules!

Adorable! I love the disney cartoon and noticed how a lot of the themes they picked for certain episodes were very similar to parts of the cartoon. Especially Johns sniveling. XD
