Dresses built in black and covered in blocks of pink and green provided a vibrant cornerstone for Roksanda Ilincic's all-dress collection. 'I think she's very clever with her use of colour', Alexandra Shulman states, 'She has a very pure aesthetic'. Having sourced her satins from the same supplier as the Pope, Ilincic's dresses held an elegant structure, with square shoulders and straight contours. The season's habit of waist cinching was also prevalent: 'Waists are having a bit of a moment- but we've got Paris and Milan to see yet', Shulman says.
