  • The game looks kind of cool, but it looks like they created the laser effects with microsoft paint

  • I played the game very much on the SNES when I was young. When growing up I once played the original Japanese version named Assault Suits Valken on an emulator and noticed that it had some extra's.

Every in-game conversation had a picture of each character. This version shown in the video (and also my EU version) doesn't, and just shows text. Also there's a scene in the JAP version that plays in the big hall of the last level and shows an enemy commander committing suicide. This was removed.

  • I have many memories playing this game as a kid on rainy days drinking coffee. So much fun it was! The very last time I played it, I was attending middle school. After classes, I finished the entire game with one mobile suit....Awesome :) Perhaps I shall pick up the controller once more...

Other wonderful games I played when I was young. They inspired my imagination.

Lufia & The Fortress of Doom

    Lufia: Rise of the Sinistrals

    Final Fantasy 3 (US)

    Final Fantasy Tactics

    Chrono Trigger

    Chrono

  • maaaan i used to love ending this game back then. such an epic ending (er endings^^)

  • The track that starts at 2:40 is pretty much my favourite piece of computer game music of all time. I'd like to find the little Japanese composer and shake him heartily by the hand. Then buy him a kebab. Or maybe some sushi...

  • Pretty much the best music soundtrack on any SNES game. Still brings a tingle to my spine! Amazing game too. I hope the composer is still getting the odd royalty cheque....

  • I have been reliving the SNES over xmas and I have to say this gem is one of the finest of the generation.

    Truly Epic =D

  • One of the 2 very first SNES games that I had ever owned, got this and Aero the Acrobat for Christmas, with my SNES. So very long ago, but those were good time.

I could beat the game without dying, but sometimes that last part of the final stage, right before the final boss and going down that fast moving corridor against the enemy robot, was the only place that was a threat to me.

Very awesome Konami music, Opus corp. did a magnificent job! The ending theme was especially emotional feeling.:D

  • 3:52 - This pretty much got me into composing/performing music - I have to thank alot to video games!
