Paul Maynard MP for Blackpool North & Cleveleys questions the minister for further education, skills and lifelong learning - John Hayes about funding for adult education.

Recognising that adult education can help people make a big change in their lives and thus reducing the need for money being spent on the welfare system and social care Paul asks if the Minister agrees that funding for informal adult learning should be valued.

Paul mentions his meeting with three local community learning champions and an event organised by NIACE - the National Insitute of Adult Continuing Education all of whom need more help in spreading informal adult education and making it accessible for those who wish to seek it.
