If I ever admit to liking country, it'll be all because of this man. Dustin, you are king.

I absolutely love Thrice and Kensrue's lyrics, but I just can not get into his solo work. I wish I could.

@CrunchyModem: I really feel the same. I like his voice, I like his lyrics but somehow...please Dustin, focus on Thrice. Beggars is some months old, work on the next one and let it be as good as all your other albums :)

Dustin Kensrue is undoubtedly my favorite lyricist and a musician with a lot of promise. His variety really stands out from the crowd of all of those craptastic emo/hardcore bands who've nothing to sing about but their latest breakup. Thrice has really matured, and I love every bit of it. Especially the folk and blues part! :D

Honey stop bitching about music. ): Get a goddamn life and stop bagging on such a talented and loved musician. Fuck your friend she wouldn't be able to pick out good music even if it came up and raped her. Fuck you, k? don't come back to this page if you think he sounds like a vagrant.

wow idiot, why don't you read the message I was responding to?
geez I love Thrice/Dustin - I've learned all his solo work on guitar

so instead of sounding like a typical annoying chick why don't you think before you act?

My favourite songwriter of all time, and he as well as Thrice are definitely underrated, they should be as big as Nirvana was in the 90's, but Im happy they haven't blown up to that level of success because who knows how that would impact the band and the music.

Dustin Kensrue is such an under-rated song writer. He's really developed an uncanny ability to write music from many different angles. Kudos to him for taking the risk and releasing this solo work. Simply awesome.
