~~With Miley/Selena/Demi~~
"Miley, why are you out of breath?" Demi asked, as Miley had just come through the hotel door. "Did you meet some over-eager fans?"

"No," Miley said, panting. "But we have nothing to worry about. Our problems are over."

"Huh?" Selena asked from the bed. She was supposed to be watching TV while Demi re-read through the Camp Rock 2 script.

"Mrs. Jonas has asked to be included in the wedding preparations, and Margaret has agreed. Mrs. Jonas doesn't want this marriage, so there's no way she's going to let the planning go smoothly." Miley smiled a sinister smile.

"Uh, Miles?" Demi asked, not convinced. "When I hung out with Margaret and Mo, Margaret had, and probably still has, a Type A personality. There's no way she's going to let anything ruin her planning. No way."

"Ah, but," Miley smiled again, "She hasn't been up against a mother who wants to prevent her son from making the biggest mistake of his life."

~~Back @ the bus~~
Mrs. Jonas and I walked back onto the bus to find Joe, Kevin, and Mr. Jonas back in the sitting area. Joe came over to meet me. "Hey babe," he said, and gave me a quick kiss. "How did it go?" he whispered.

"Fine," I whispered back, still not believing it. "I'm still in one piece."

"And I appreciate that," Joe said, one arm around my waist and his lips in my hair.

"Me too!" I said, a little louder. Mrs. Jonas had gone over to talk to her husband. Nick and Kevin each had their guitars and were working on chords for a song.

"Let's get out of here," Joe said, and called out, "We'll be back!"

"Okay, hun, don't be gone long!" Mrs. Jonas called back.

Joe took my hand and led me over to and out the bus door. We walked across the parking lot, me still keeping watch for any cars that decided to come close to us. We made it across safely, and went back into his room. He laid down on the bed again, and I cuddled in next to him.

"I should get back home," I said, sighing. "I need to start talking to my mom about planning and this dinner that you guys arranged for tomorrow."

"What?" Joe asked, his arm around my shoulder, and rubbing it. "Are you afraid your family won't like me?"

"Joe, they've already met you. I have a family of A LOT of boys. Of course they are not going to like someone who's going to marry one of the only girls in the family."

"Why?" he asked.

"Joe, please, think of you and your brothers. You have a sister, and your sister decides to bring home some someone that she says she's going to marry...."

"I see your point," Joe interrupted, holding me tighter. "That's all right. I'll just have to impress them tomorrow. That way there'll be no worries at all. Come on," he said, getting up. "Let's get you home."

He kissed me, and I called my mom. She came and got me fifteen minutes later, and I waved goodbye to Joe as we drove away.

I didn't sleep very peacefully that night, worried about the dinner. It had been decided that it was going to be held in my backyard, with tables lined up so that no one would be left out. I have A LOT of family though. I wasn't kidding when I told Joe that. Joe's family of 5 was going to be dominated by the 35 people that I had coming, and that was just my immediate family. I woke up early so I could help my mom and brother set up.

"Mags," my mother said, annoyed. "Why don't you go read a book, or something?" I had been trying to help them set up, but every time they tried to set the tables, I was behind them trying to straighten out what they had laid down when there was nothing wrong with it. "I know you're nervous, but there's no reason to be! Everyone will love Joe, trust me."

"I know," I said, ending my pacing. "But there's so much that can go wrong. Plus, Mo still isn't talking to me! I've called her sixteen times, left messages thirteen times, and she hasn't been at work when Ive been!"

"Hon, we can't worry about that right now. You've invited her, now it's up to her to show up."

"Okay," I said with a sigh, as I went over to sit on the grass. We had planned a pizza/chicken wings dinner, and my mom had made dessert.

I sat in the sun for a while, until I heard car doors slam and my stomach started to get butterflies. I waited for them to come around the corner, and there was Joe.

"Joe!" I yelled, jumping out of my chair and limping over to him. He met me halfway and caught me in a hug.

"Hi sweetheart," he said.

"Joe, where's your family?" my mom asked, walking over to us.

"They're unloading the bus. My mom bought...I mean made brownies for today, and we're getting chairs and things out."

"Your mother didn't have to do that," my mom said. Just as she let the last word go, the Jonas' decided to make an entrance. Oh boy. They were all dressed up like they were going to church; nice clothes, hair slicked back. Everyone except for Joe.
