One of the best Irish Films ever! Simple, but brilliantly told story of two lonely people encouraging each other to realise their dreams through their mutual interest in music. Excellent soundtrack by Glen Hansard & Marketa Irglova, of which "Falling slowly" has been nominated for the Oscar (since the filming, Glen has already released the song on 2 of his albums as well).

Amazing story - actually believable unlike some stupid romance romeo & juliet blablabla..

it actually makes me a little bit sad the only films people seem to want to watch these days are ones with a million exposions in them and the camera changing every 2 seconds!
how this isnt in the top 250 on imdb is a joke!

This is such beautiful movie, with realistic story, actors.. you must watch it, it won't leave you indifferent .
