  • Great sound, but I wish the picture was clearer. Did you transcribe the music yourself or has someone actually published Bach for shakuhachi? I love it!

  • I know the picture quality is poor but my battery ran out before I had time to do a retake. There is no transcription as I can read western notation. Thanks for your comment.

  • Playing shakuhachi in Japan for 15 years and I've just heard shakuhachi again for the first time today. The way those Otsu no Ro notes drop in there...just wonderful. Thank you for posting this!

  • Good Job! Its nice hearing some shakuhachi without all the snorts, whistles, wheezes and other overused affectations that seem to be put into so much of the shakuhachi I've heard.

  • That must be REALLY hard!!! I like it, could imagine the pleasure of hearing it in my garden....

  • Awesome work, man!

  • Is that a standard five hole shakuhachi you're playing? Very clever if so:-)

  • Nice skill but shakuhachi is not for that I think. It will sound better on western flute.

  • parabens muito bom
