@Dennis6744 I'm 17 and portuguese... When I turn 20 I really want to just pick up a bag and a tent and just go without destiny... No destiny at all, just live, get away from this greedy, sick, horrible society... With no plans, no map, no money... just me and myself, out there on the road, living man! sucking all the marrow of what life has to offer :)

@Dennis6744 A friend of mine went to Alaska from Romania last summer.
He worked there for 2 months and after that he lived in the wilds for one month with only his tent. It's not much, but still...

Christopher Mccandless..I love you, and I always will..

@OddView Yes but then his motive was also different. He thought he needed to be away from people to experience happiness, but the he realized happiness was only real when shared.
As for those of us who want to break away from society to experience life to the fullest and experience nature in all its glory, we want just that: We're not trying to get away from PEOPLE to be happy for the sake of being happy like was Christopher McCandless; we're trying to get away from this menial existence!

The four people who disliked this have no souls

@Dennis6744 I did; at least for a little while. But then, the only reason my trip was cut so short was because my parents would not allow, but when I'm older... :)
I wonder how many people actually left it all behind to live in nature after seeing this movie. I know I considered it.

Two years he walks the earth. No phone, no pool, no pets, no cigarettes.
Ultimate freedom. An extremist. An aesthetic voyager whose home is the road.
The climactic battle to kill the false being within and victoriously conclude
the spiritual revolution. No longer to be poisoned by civilization, he flees,
and walks alone upon the land to become lost in the wild.
-Alexander Supertramp, May 1992
