I'm currently reading the book of Mormon, and im to to a LDS church for the first time tomorrow, anyone have some advice as to what i should do tomorrow?

I would suggest keeping a prayer in your heart the whole time you are their that our Father in heaven would help you know if it is true. You may or may not get an answer right away but keep praying. I love this church. Remember that church is for imperfect people. If someone doesn't seem nice they are probably just shy. For the most part. You may want to introduce yourself to a few people. Some are good about intros themselves others have a hard time like most of us do at times. Hopethishelped.

I have a Catholic........and Christian background....I dont have a religion..yet because I dont know wich one was the true one.........I had some Mormans come in visit me...When they would come to my home and pray for me.........I think they were god sent to help me........Now I am thinking to considering to join the church......because I feel that god is calling me so

That is wonderful. I love this church. You might look at the Mormon messages, on youtube, as well if you haven't already. If you want to know what else we teach you can contact the nearest church of Jesus Christ of Latter day saints by typing it into google. Give them a call and they should be able to help you. I have chosen to leave on some comments against the church so that others can see the opposition. Each of us have the right to find out what is true. Through prayer and asking God we can know. Just like the people are speaking for the church have a right to be heard so do those who have negative things to say. Each individual is important. All are seeking to be heard and understood.

Every one wants Jesus to pop out of the bushes and say the Church is true. It does not work that way. Every one on this planet is being tested and satin is trying to deceive all the souls he can and doing a great Job. I know with out a doubt the Church is True. The only reason I know is because I wanted to with all my heart and mind. It took a lot of faith and a few years, but I did receive a very powerful reply from the spirit.

Too bad ony 4 to 5 million of that 13 million actually go to church. We need to do a better job of retention.

I was approached by students representing LDS in NW England in 1995 (student at that time). I was rather a lost in Catholic faith yearning to return to God. I attended LDS weekend masses, making comparative notes compared to Catholic counterpart (gullible in faith). I only recalled resistance of conversion (reborn christianity).
