Crane Beach striped bass fishing MA top water May 14th 2009 6:07am 32 inch fish surfcasting

This was just a nice spring fish feeding on crabs & shrimp that mistook my bone jumping minnow for food. It was all day like this. Bill got the biggest fish of the day at 36 inches but we will hold that video for later.(now up!) Reel, Van Staal 150L , Pole Lamaglas 9 Lamiglas Ron Arra Surf Pro.

@VIDEOZAL I do and that is a great rod but that is a 9 foot? and even in the late summer i use a 10 foot.

@brianmoc I'm a tall guy (6'5) and it's easier for me to cast longer rods. Damn I used it once (it's my first $300+ rod, my other rods are $100+) and I'm in love with this pole. Now I'm thinking about loomis same sizing just to campare couse everyone and everywhere is always arguing about quality of these two brands.

@VIDEOZAL I have a 11 loomis and i have not used it 4 years! Look at the 10' 6" st croix Legion. Its most likely the best rod out there hands down.
