@BrettsHealth That's a great idea! I should do a vlog next week where I'm just screaming my head off and crying and going nuts! Sounds fun to me. I sure hope it gets easier for you. They say it takes around 30 days to form a habit, so I imagine it takes about that long to break one.

@JenMarissa Ouch 6 months. Oh man thats a long time huh? I knda figured it would take a few months to get past the worst of the WANT. I do appreciate your giving me an answer based on your experience. I would be afraind to ever smoke another one for fear of a total relapse. I have an addictive personality or something. Its all or nothing I guess. But I will sure take your promise because it cant get much worse. lol

@DimemanRobbie Thanks Robbie. Day 4 was a tad bit better than 3. I guess because I have never made it this far that after a couple of days it would be easy. Yea I dont know what I was thinking. I appreciate your support. Means a lot

@kelloggshow I feel better knowing I am not alone here lol. thanks for the comment and support. Same to you on your challenge. Sometimes we dont realize how strong something can get a hold on us.
What Jen said is my experience as well. They taste absolutely putrid to me. In answer to your question I cannot remember when the urge to go to the store ceased...I still want to buy them and look at the packages behind the counter every time I am there for a loaf of bread or snacks (oops). Cigarettes are a dreadful addiction and I am so very glad I stopped...you will be too as weeks and months pass.

@LostRingFinders Thanks John.... I think? lol I discovered I still have the supplies of bugler roll your owns here I stashed a couple of years ago. One thing I was told by a guy that quit years ago "When you quit have a full pack" If you cant stop with a full pack then you are not ready. So here I look at this can of tobacco remembering those words. Cant remember that guys name and it must have been at least 25 years ago. But I remember his words. Dang it!

@OnlyTheScriptures Thank you for your comment. It seems 6 months is about the average time to get past the desire to smoke. Congratualtion on 5 years smoke free. You hit the nail on the head, and that has always been my problem making up my mind to do it. God and Gum is Great Advice lol

On day six you should just growl at the camera and show yourself chopping wood for eight minutes! I feel for you buddy. I don't have any idea what your going through, but with what I'm going through, but with what I'm doing - I know staying busy helps a lot. The more I do, the less I think about what I'm not doing.

@biggydman LOL Thats a good idea biggydman. You are right staying busy helps a lot most of the time. But even then I have spent so much of my life with a cigarette hanging from my lips there is very little I can do that was a non smoking activity. I have been growling today for sure. Maybe that should be the next update just growling. LOL I could take out my frustration on Zeek the Geek? Nah I like him. maybe I could give Nichol a piece of my mind for not accepting him for the stalker he is. LOL
