Sweet! I was misinformed. Thanx for the info! Growing up we had the pronto pup...under the "boardwalk"...and A & W...all down there by the riverfront. Miss it all every day......

My parents used to have a boat there. Grand Haven was like a second home.
If I was ever rich, I would probably move there...and / or have a boat there! lol

I was stationed in Virginia in the navy, lived in Missouri and Illinois and now live in Texas. I was also overseas for a time. There is nowhere that compares to Grand Haven. You don't appreciate it until you move away. I miss it everyday. Even the tourists!!! ha ha ha.....small price to pay...

Go to the side of the beach were no one goes, thats still the public beach, people do it all the time

Thank you so much! Somedays I get so homesick for G.H. it hurts. I grew up in G.H. right up until I left for the navy in '89. Wish I never would have left. I live in Grand Prairie, Texas now and it is no Grand Haven. I love it here but I feel so lucky to have lived in G.H. Can't wait to walk the boardwalk, see the lighthouse, and eat at the Delight someday. I heard the Pronto Pup is no more. Someone say this isn't so!! That's as much a part of G.H. as the musical fountain.

the little lighthouse/square building at 20sec into the video... last night i drove 2 hours to go sit by it during a store with 10+ feet waves, at night time.

That wasn't very smart to sit out there in 10 foot waves. Many people have drowned doing the exact same thing.

When were these pictures taken? June? It looks empty... Basically a REALLY nice day to be where you got all those shots lol.
Usually the beach is way too packed, tourists are all over the pier, and the boat cops arent just floating around like in that picture, cos' they need them out doing real stuff :-p
Really nice pictures and music though.
