China, How it is - Equality and dog meat

I tackle two big issues.. the all important factor of Image and how it affects your job prospects, the fact that unlike in the West, everyone does not pretent to be equal in China. Some friendly village people frighten their kids and I also finally answer any questions you may have about Chinese people eating dog.

In my opinion all the animals are equal (including humans), just because western ppl happens to love dogs as pets doesnt mean they're "better" animals in "nature" sense. Thus I dont judge eating dog's meat more than any other animals meat.

I asked a guy from China about eating dog and thought that he would get upset about asking. He didn't give it any more thought than we would be for going to Burger King. He said dog is good in the winter because it keeps them warm on the inside. He then started talking about eating monkey brains and how good it was. He also talked about when he was young in the 1970's and 80's how hunger they were in Beijing. How about a video about "poopy pants" that all the kids in China wear.

Yea, being Chinese, I am NOT happy about the Dog Eating problem, I remember seeing Street dogs disappear when winter arrived in Taiwan. But like you said that's the reality and when asked why they eat dog I was told the meat heats your body. Sounds like a load of Crap, but there you are.
