Hero Charged with Murder...

57 year old pharmacist Jerome Ersland was minding his own business at work the other day, when two kids came in with guns and tried to rob him.

Before they were successful, Mr. Ersland pulled out his own gun and shot one of them in the head. Chased the other out of the store. On returning to the store, he shot the first assailant 5 more times and called the police.

When the police arrived they arrested Mr. Erland and he is now being charge with first-degree murder for using "excessive force".

You gotta be freaking kidding me?!!!

@dantej CONT in any case "If he did not know that he was on the floor, why didn't he stay in the shop to protect the other Workers?" How does that even follow? Yet I am as dumb as a box of rocks!

The robber that ran off and the other two (one of which attacked the Prosecutor in open court in front of the jury!) could of entered the shop at any moment to rescue (or finish off!) their lost gang member. Yes Ersland reloaded. You know what he was? Ready. Ready to win. And a fucking Hero.

@drnogood59 & after you have read the police report, watch the actual robbery video, then listen to what he told news reporters after he was robbed, then compare that to what he says in his police interview videos. You will find that started to LIE!!! from the very begining. LIE to everyone. why & how can you stick up for a LIAR?

Police will even call off a chase if it gets to the point that chasing the suspect will endanger civilans lives by further pursuit of them. u know what ur comment makes no sense because i know for a fact u dont have a clue of what really happend, so again i tell u go READ the POLICE REPORT

@drnogood59 & also my comment makes alot of sence, Ersland shot an unconsious unarmed man, Ersland had the gun how do you not understand that, i didnt say he killed a person that had a gun i said he killed an unconsious man that had no wepon. this is not really hard to comprehend, its farley simple. & i would have pulled the trigger untill i ran out of ammo to begin with i wouldnt have shot ran outside, WALKED back in WALKED over my threat then WALK back & unload another gun then WALK & call 911

@drnogood59 he is a coward the robber had no gun read the police report, while your at it look at the interigation videos & tell me y ur hero lied & changed his story so many times? he actually said the robbers opened fire on him first, when in fact the 1 that had a gun never even fired his wepon, i dont care how sacred u r, u know if someone shoots at you, he then said he shot the robber who was on the ground 5 or 6 times before he chased after the other robber, lie! before u stick

If Jerome wants to ensure he will live by ensuring the criminal is unable to harm him that's fine. Jerome is not an ER doctor, clearly, he wouldn't know if the criminal was dead or "unconios". Let's see you act under that stressed situation and see what you do. Me? I would pull the trigger until I run out of ammo. Why? Because I want to LIVE.

He's not a hero if the guy was down already and done. All he had to do was call the police and let them take care of it. He put 5 MORE bullets in the guy after he shot him the first time and killed him. He deserves it. He's NOT a hero!!

as he lie there not moving. if he was so worried about his co-workers y did he not go & lock the door to not allow the other robber back in if he came back. then he could have handled the only robber left in the store because he was lying there unconsios & even if he didnt he had the upper hand he has the gun pointed at him. the guy was a hero all the way up untill he shot the robber while he lay there on his back not moving bleeding from his head. Now he is a KILLER! COLD BLOODED KILLER!

for those that say he did not know the robber was still in there when he chased the other robber out of the store, WRONG! he shot one of the he watched him fall he ran after the other when he got to the door he looked back at the robber lying there unconsious ran out of the store shot his gun a few more times down a busy street, one lady said she even heard a bullet wiz by her head. he then returned to the store walked over the robber grabed another gun walked back & fired into his stomach ctd..
