  • It helps to listen to the tape. Not all the fine notes are written in the notes. But nice touch overall.

  • @msh1348 Thank you for your comments! I come from a tradition that celebrates new perspectives on established works. My performance is certainly not "authentic", however real Iranian music is anyway rather incompatible with the Western piano, using a different scale and being melodically based rather than harmonic, so I prefer to not try in vain to copy the style, instead making the most out of the music in an original, Western way. For authenticity, I would need a tar, kamanche, or santur!

  • I can play it better than you! :D

  • WOW AFarinnnn:)

  • I have tried to do the same mentality on golden dreams. The real work is from one of my friends but not totally like what Marufi played 80 years ago perhaps.

  • Your performance is authentic in such a way you have improvises the tremolos instead of traditional way. Dont get me wrong please I enjoyed every bit of it. . I am not nearly remotely close to your abilities to play music. However, I have jila and Golden dreams played on my page with an old piano. I am self taught and enjoy playing some music. I looked at your Ey Iran it was really amazing, and then the classics are mind wrecking really crazy.
