Aggressor - Where Are You (Relaunch Remix) - Mistiquemusic

Long time Mistiquemusic artist Aggressor finds himself back on Michael & Levan and Stiven Rivic's top imprint this week with an amazing new single.

The great Macedonian producer has been delivering outstanding productions for: Hyline, Fragments, Underground City Music, LuPS and BQ Recordings to name just a few. He last appeared on Mistique way back in April of this year so this new single is long overdue! 'Where Are We' is one of Aggressor's most inspiring compositions to date and it comes with a killer set of remixes from: Relaunch, Ivan Nikusev, Matias Chilano and Ultimate Progress. Aggressor's 'Where Are You' original starts the package off with a big room presence. A distinguished male vocal snip sets a serious tone early and when the second kick drops in you know a monster is brewing. Then the bassline thunders down for its introduction, it's an impactful moment and should eat most dance floors alive. A hazy set of synths add a wonderful trippy, hypnotic element and that leads the piece to the drop. Here a bubbly lead takes center stage for what results in an awesome blissed out journey through the heart of the track. A further set of epic lead bells get dropped in at the tracks climax and it's an amazing moment that is melodic, trippy and just simply beautiful. Huge tune from Aggressor.

The first remix is supplied by German wonder producer Relaunch and he's gone with a super smooth and somewhat deeper vibe than what we're used to from him or at least that's how it appears at the tracks outset. It's one of those tracks that just creeps up on you, it builds subtly but as the layers of atmosphere begin to pile up suddenly you've got a monster tune on your hands. It's a great driving groove that had the Relaunch trademark but it's the shimmering harmonic refrains that build in intensity which really contribute to the colossal sound of this remix. Absolutely brilliant stuff from Relaunch.

Fellow Macedonian producer and close friend of Aggressor, Ivan Nikusev provides the second interpretation here. Ivan's productions are always amazing but you know when he's remixing a track from Aggressor on Mistique it's going to be extra special and it's certainly turned out that way. The rumbling old school vibe shines through straight away and it's big party potential is evident. The squirrelly metallic lead and wavering sheets of synths combine for an amazing wall of melodic sound that is just so powerful. Then the main lead drops in just when you think the track can't get any better and pushes the energy and emotion through the roof. Top stuff and one of Ivan's best!

Argentinean producer Matias Chilano provides a wonderful compliment to the package in the form of a much groovier and deeper interpretation. The chunky groove and smooth flowing lines combined with a big spacious atmosphere really makes this one of Matias' best remixes this year.
Aggressor dons his Ultimate Progress guise and provides the final interpretation here. It's a superbly reinvented track as Ultimate Progress has added some additional male vocal elements and a killer low end, hypnotic vibe. The cascading sections of xylophone type bells are fresh and inspiring, such an amazing bubbly texture to them that you'd swear they are alive. All these gorgeous melodic elements get showcased perfectly during the breakdown which is an splendid journey into melodic sound. A very strong release for Mistique and a great return to the label for Aggressor!
