Such an amazing work; this piece never gets old

If you've listened to Temple Of Low Men, that's where you can really see some dark songwriting. But like I said, every album of his has ATLEAST two or three songs that express a darker side of his personality. And yes, his solo albums are just flawless. I can honestly say his second album with his brother, I just flat out didn't like very much, although there are a few really good songs.

Actually most of neils work is really dark. check out more of his stuff, you'll like it.

Ed O'Brien's guitar work makes an excellent song even better!!

An unusually moody, dark song compared to his usual (excellent) stuff. I like the bro's version w/ Tim's harmonizing.

Well, a great tune - Neil Finn excudes talent. Jonny Marr (former Smiths guitarist) is another treat here. What a great journey through fog, lights and awesome guitar feedback!
I don't understand why this doesn't have more views. This is a complete masterpiece. And it's live, which is rare.

Guess I was thinking of his more pop melodies(which are just fine, too) w/ Crowded House. Since my last post, I've purchased about everything he's got. You're right. I love his dark intensity. His 2 solos are 5-star. He & Tim put this one out on their 1st collab. effort "Finn". Their 2nd is also great, but different. Neil's said he's drawn to melancholic tunes. And so have I been.
