It is my personal opinion that all the studios who started deleting the World Trade Center from their movies after 2001 are cowards. They deleted it from the TV version of Armageddon (which was released in 1998!) Vanilla Sky was the only movie that didn't do it. Cameron Crowe said they discussed it, but he preferred not to. For that, they are the better movie.

May I just say thank you for putting this up. I remember seeing this teaser for the first time, and being amazed by how brilliant it was.
It's a real damn shame they cut it from the movie. I understand why they did it, but it still upsets me that they did.
