I'm from Ala Freakin' Bama too! We were front row at Big Spring Jam in Huntsville, Alabama when Trace sang this song for the first time in Alabama. Not the first time he sang it, but it was the first time in Alabama. This song is the next Sweet Home Alabama. Awesome song.

I was working in the BBB in Cool Springs when I noticed this big biker looking dude up at the registers, laughing and having a good time. He had a long pony tail with no hat so I didn't recognize him from a distance. Didn't know it was Trace till I got to the front and he was already leaving. This was back in 02 or 03 and his song Lonely Won't Leave Me Alone hit home all too close for me during that time. He's a great entertainer and a patriot!
