I got this so that if I broke it or it started bending (like the one it replaced) it wouldnt matter...it's cheap!

Cos i just bought one too and it sounds crappy when u hit it continaully like in breakdowns, i was heaps keen on it for breakdowns but the decay is awfully long and im having some annoying low pitch overtones that is ruining the splashy sound.. i might try add blu tack on the bottom or tape and see how it affects the decay.. also, it is used i got it off ebay and there is a lot of rusty like spots on it, mite give it a clean.. decay is so long the volume just increases..
