  • @327Adam It sets the damper on or off so that key plucks either resound or are muted. Professional harpsichordists please correct me if I'm wrong.

    Not really, Apocalyptica is a terrible example and they're not very good.

  • If you want a good mix of metal and classical Apocalyptica is a good way to go :P
