From an early 90s episode of Donahue. Three supersize women (Pamela Lynn, Ambrosia and Teighlor) discuss their surprisingly normal eating habits, in an effort to dispel the "fat = glutton" stereotype.

(Only the woman named Teighlor is now single. Pamela, in the purple dress, is already married, and Ambrosia died some years ago.)

  • I am fat and have lost 60 pounds in the last few months. It irritates me when other fat people say that they dont eat much, and try to "exercise". Bullshit. I ate every pound that was on my body, and do did these fat ladies.

  • Energy in = energy out. There's no other way. Eat more than you use and gain weight. Use more than you eat, and lose weight.

The word 'try' appears too many times in this video to be believable.

    "Try" and take of myself

    "Try" to be fit

    "Try" and exercise

    "You don't overeat?" "I....I....uh...I...."

    BS.

  • I'd bang them all

  • @nickphilly i totally agree with you hun i am a big woman too and i know in the end it is my own fault yes i am trying to loose the weight and so far have dropped 2 dress sizes but i am no where as big as these ladies but them saying that there not big eaters that is a lie otherwise how are they that big?they have done this to themselves noone else them...unless they were held at gun point for years and forced to eat!!!

  • @daLurqer

Teighlor died about a year or so ago as well.

  • @D3adleavez There are plenty of overweight individuals who are perfectly educated an intelligent. You don't know the circumstances of someone's weight gain. You don't know if they have a medical condition, or are on medication which makes them gain weight, or faced those issues at sometime in the past. Most people who make negative comments about those who are overweight have never faced any conditions which might make them overweight.

  • @SepherStar no, but you do have to be very ignorant

  • @D3adleavez If a person's BMR is 1500 calories a day, which it is for many women with slow metabolisms, and they eat 2000 calories a day, which is the average caloric intake recommended USDA, and there are 3500 calories in a pound, then that person would gain 100lbs in 1.9 years. 1 serving of butter has 100 calories, and your average bagel has 350 calories...the large ones have 600 calories. 1 serving of ranch salad dressing has 100 calories. You don't have to gorge yourself to get fat.

I actually said nothing about diet, I just pointed out that croissantsa are bad for you.

  • @GnosticHumanist

That's a silly comment. "Fat" and "Carbs" are two of the three major categories of nutrients. You need both some fats and some carbs in your diet. The issue is not "fat" or "carbs" but portion size.

  • @rjkerb08 one can hope
