More news and analysis of CEO Ed Whitacre's decision to leave General Motors. Infiniti just announced its new in-house performance division called IPL, which is short for "Infiniti Performance Line." Ford auctioned-off a number of its concept cars in order to raise money for charity. All that and more, plus a look at Transonic Combustion, a company that's invented a new type of fuel-injection system that can make a gasoline engine get the same kind of fuel economy as a diesel.

  • @undeadkillers

agreed. It's not much for the bang for your buck either :/

have you seen the price for the IPL g37?

ridiculous! They need a more prestigious and meaner sounding badge and name.

    like the AMG, ///M, etc.

  • Gm and chrysler built crap cars and now its here to haunt them. Hmmm Accord and Altima or malibu and stratus lol. MMerican pride can make so many sales.

  • Big mistake hiring Daniel Akerson

  • Infiniti's Performance Line Badge really reminds me of Audi's S Badge.

  • your voice is the worst!!!!

get a new host, we don't need sir nerd la Roy making cars boring.

  • Beautiful Infiniti. But Infiniti needs to improve the security system to cut down on the theft rates for G coupes. BMW 3-series are stolen less and have the sport models before Infiniti, but need more maintenance.

  • I wonder how closely "IPL" is tied in with the NISMO division. not that such would be bad thing.

  • Those are beautiful numbers on the Infinity. Just not personally big on that cars design.
