  • wow bidding ended 2 yrs ago today

  • @Meridian83West Bunky knew hits in the '80s as well.......The Skool Boyz first album in 1982 ws produced by Bunky......by then he moved to L.A.

  • @Meridian83West

Yes, "Bunky" knew hits when he heard them. I believe he is still around. Abner passed on in 1997. The great tunes of the '60's will never be repeated.

  • @BudWiser999 You're right. I got my information from a piece on Chicago R&B that led me to believe that it was Bunky Sheppard who started the label. Sheppard did start his own label, Bunky records, around 1967 (remember "Get On Up" by the Esquires?).

  • @Meridian83West

Actually Constellation belonged to Ewert Abner after he was fired from VeeJay. He took Bunky Sheppard with him who had a personal contract with "The Duke".

  • Nothing can stop me So bad do I feel inside Get my hat, I'm checking out Cause you and your friends Really hurt my pride So unexpected You shot me down With all the fellas Standing around, yeah (CHORUS) Please don't go That's what they'll be saying Please don't go But I'm not playing Cause nothing can stop me (Yeah, yeah, yeah) (Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah) Nothing can stop me Though you and I were pretty close I'm calling it quits, girl Cause it was you I really dug the most
  • You threw a lucky punch.

  • Does anyone know the song he sang to follow up Mary Well's You Beat Me To The Punch.
