I could remember when 'GN station IDs (globe flash-morphing to 2-D circle 9) boasted 24/7 programming well before informercials made 24/7 ops the rule. They even had a still ID with the "Solidarność" logo.

@ebf1957 No,it was WCIU channel 26 that used the Superman theme in the station ID. It's posted here on YT.

great post. hope you can find the station identification logo that went with this RW last farewell piece. the letters circled "WGN", then revolved around it.

@glasscitadel12 There's a site called FuzzyTV Memories,they have the actual clips of that station ID up now,they were blocked for a while.
