Our two turtles that my mum has had for over 34 years have finally laid eggs that have begun to hatch! There is 11 currently and only 2 are showing any sign of life. They will take 24-48 hours to hatch so i will probably add more videos when they are out more :D

  • hey, i need help. so this is the problem. So i placed both of my turtles in a not small not big aquarium. and i place both female and male together, The female have twice hatches but the next morning all i see was only the shell. i'm so sad for it. What can i do to prevent the turtles to attack its own egg? i have waited this for 5 years! HELP ME PLEASE!

  • @siauwevania They ideally need to lay the eggs in some kind of wet sand and be left the way they are buried. If they lay them in water, you need to put them in sand keeping them in a similar position as turning them upside down can do serious damage. Finally, you need to remove them from access to the parents as some species are known to eat the eggs if they get hungry enough. Hope this helps buddy!

  • can u touch turtle eggs?

    please email back

  • @wheresunagi760 Ideally you probably shouldn't, but these ones were at risk by being eaten by the father, as at the time we didnt have anywhere else to put him. If you are going to touch them you need to keep them in the same position exactly while you move them. Don't go turning them upside down or anything like that.

  • What kind of turtles r they cuz I want one so bad but my dad says they bite and carry disease

  • @ErinRobTheNobLickaaa They can bite, but it doesnt really hurt. And if they have diseases you aren't looking after them properly!
