Thomas Kretschmann did a great job in this movie. He is such a good actor.

Also the 'Mufti' went to Germany on the Invitation, he went because the British had stolen Muslim land under the 'Balfour' agreement and had divided the Muslims, as the British had done in Ireland and later in India, divide and rule- the sub-text here with the Muslims is just pathetic and sloppy propaganda, sorry....

Just watched this and it was rather a simplistic film- Eichmann was a ruthless, deluded coward, like most of the Nazis' but this film is beyond derision, making love to a Baronees while describing the number of Jews killed, shooting a baby- I've read enough on the Nazis to know that they did some horrific acts, but Eichmann wasn't Mengele or Walter Rolff, this is just slanted, and hate to say it, Jewish propaganda...it's too simplistic and inaccurate.

A good movie well done! One note; 0:43:53. Map of modern day Europe, certainly not accurate for 1961. Shame when the details aren't right...otherwise, well done!
