This is just a collage I decided to make n' have some fun with. The sequences are, as they are ordered here, the following: Nico walking to the barber shop shortly before the surgery, Second Avenue and 11th Street, NYC, filmed by Jason DaSilva; Nico the morning of the surgery, 29September2008, walking down the hall of his mother's apartment on 107th and Amsterdam, NYC, filmed by Jason DaSilva; Nico at the Slipper Room, Orchard and Stanton Street NYC, dancin, with burlesque performer "Doctor Lucky" in street clothes, filmed by Ken Zwerin; post-surgery Rehab Day #1, at the Rusk Institute for Rehabilitation Medicine, NYC, early October 2008, filmed by James Campagna; and last but not least, Nico's post-surgery walk, 22November2008, rehab completed at Village Care New York in NYC's West Village, filmed by assorted physical therapists, and backed by my PT at that place, the lovely Marianne Yvonne del Castillo. Very cool! My daughter had a rhizotomy May, 2006, she was 71/2. I noticed marked improvement immediately, but quite a bit of spasticity returning as she grew. She's now as tall as I, 5'5" @12 years! I know it's only been about a year but I was curioius. Also, does it pain you (feet, ankles, knee joints) when you walk? I try to ask her but she's mildly autistic and I'm just never sure about her answers. GREAT support and friends you've got, btw ;) and Thank You! for sharing

hey, i'm a medical student (in the UK) about to do some final year exams in neurology... this was a really helpful video in seeing someone with a spastic diplegic gait before and after surgery, thanks a lot for uploading it
