Tour of SP Kennel

This past January I went to Fairbanks, Alaska to do a research study on sled dogs. Their ability to cover long distances with minimal rest is a physiologic phenomenon. For our study we went to Two Rivers, Alaska and performed our research on the sled dogs of Skunk's Place Kennel. SP Kennel is owned by Aily Zirkle and Allen Moore, two of the best sled dog mushers in the world. Aily has won the Yukon Quest and has competed in the Iditarod 9 times. Allen has won the Copper Basin three times and has competed in several Iditarods. This video gives a brief tour of the family - dogs including the want to be sled dog - TIgs.
