  • Very sad news... unfortunately Sage passed away on December 3, 2009. She had Cushings disease and arthritis but went very peacefully. We had her for a wonderful 10 years after rescuing here. Thank you all for the nice comments.

  • you no y they cut of the boxers tail....because they are so long and kill if you are hit by one

  • We adopted Sage when she was 2 or 3 years old, she was a rescue. It was too late to do anything about the tail, but over the 8 years she has not caused much trouble with it.

  • lovely dogs!

  • We have seen your Oscar videos, he is a beautiful dog, and looks so much like our Jag who passed away in March.

  • The big boxer beside Sage is Jag. He is wearing the t-shirt because he had a cancerous tumour removed, and the shirt keeps him from licking and scratching the stitches.

  • @loopylogloopy you think that because it's a different look for a boxer. I like boxers with tails, it makes them look complete

  • so cute, love how they have there tails :)

  • @brc58 sorry about Sage.... pretty unusual seeing a long-tailed boxer

  • Wonderful to see a boxer with a tail! I have a rescue boxer 'x' collie and wondered where he inherited the big swooshy tail from :)

  • @dogsneedpleasureto so are you trying to say it's inhumaine to dock tail the just put a rubber band on them when they are little and the tail fall off no harn done my boxer's tail is dock and he has no balance a docked tail is just represented as a tarde mark of their kind

  • @cartersacry1

"There are also two primaryreasons why boxers get their tails docked. The first is for balance and precision" ←Lies, aniamls use tails to keep balance and precision while running, have you see a cheetah running and turning and how long their tail is?

"The other reason was so that its tails would not get caught under heavy weight."←People don't use dogs as work slaves anymore.

Docking tails is unnecessary and painful for the dogs...

  • here got a MIxed Boxer dog with a German Shepard and wondered how long was a Boxer tail, cause this one is like a big whip lol, always hitting my Pug's on the face with it hee hee

  • I'm sorry for your loss. Beautiful boxer! Our boxer Rockee is all natural and I don't regret it. The docking is outdated and only done here in the states anyways. In fact if you go to a dog show anywhere else boxers MUST have there tails. Docking is not allowed. I love our boxer and he gets along so well with out sons. Great great animal!

  • LOL THE TAIL LOOKS SO MESSED UP

  • I am so very sorry for your loss.

Sage was a BEAUTY! We rescued our boxer "Beta" a year ago. She is 3 yrs old (according to the vet) and she ALSO has a tail! And her full ears as well. She brings us so much joy . I am overwhelmed & cannot even express how much we love her. Our first rescue dog & I can assure you that we will be partial to rescuing Boxers from now on! They are the BEST dogs! Your Sage had a wonderful life. So much love. And 10 years is a long time. What a blessing for all!
