I don't think I've ever seen either of them on film, and now both together. I couldn't say if Yogananda was genuine or not but has been a great inspiration to me whatever the reality behind it, which I am still finding out.

This is a rare moment - the film was taken by Paramahansa Yogananda's secretary, Richard Wright, during their visit to Indian saints in 1936. And more, the man in suit standing to the right of Yoganandaji is Paul Brunton - author of "A search in secret India", wherein he describes his experience of samadhi in the presence of Raman Maharshi!

Ok, so, put a Southern Baptist, a Pentacostal, a Calvinist and 'LoveJoyPeaceComfort' in a room and see what happens. You're not the only 'Christian' who can quote scripture, the only 'Christian' who believes most steadfastly in the inviolability and inerrancy of her position.
