Sketchyphysics Car Tutorial

After a request from Bigisezhi I made this tutorial outlining how to build a fully controllable car using google sketchup 7 and the free plugin sketchyphysics 3.

when i do it, the car just sinks into the ground

@16989473 Make sure that the ground geometry is a group and that it is set to 'staticmesh' in the sketchyphysics menu, hope this helps.

HI, Excellent VId but when i start to make it run it starts to bump a little like if it was a ball one of the back wheels, Do you have a diagnostic?

@devlincr1s32 It may be that the wheels are not set to the correct shape. Just right click on each of the wheels select SketchyPhysics, then shape and then choose either sphere or chamfer (sphere is usually best) and that should sort the problem. Hope this helps

@GoodwoodRRClub thanks for the fast answer. i fixed the problem. try to get an older version. and trying to get that i found an article on google. my mistake was to close the UI after entering the text. just klick on UI again when your finished instead of closing it.

@TheMegaYUtub I had the same problem too, I think it may just be a bug with a certain version of SP (maybe 3.1?) I just re-downloaded the latest version and it seems to have fixed the problem. (You could try a slightly older version if it still doesn't work) Hope this helps!

great tutorial the only thing i dont figure out yet is the SketchyPhysicsInspector. UI

it works fine the first time but then when i klick on the other motor or servo it just show the words, Joints , State, Propertie, Shape... but i can not type anything in?! need help
