  • Stroke that pump!

  • @akjunkie the miniworks has a carbon filter in addition to the ceramic. the carbon takes out smells and tastes. the hyperflow will make the water drinkable but it will still taste like where it came from.

  • Hmm, MSR Miniworks EX takes 60 seconds for 1 liter, and Hyperflow 20 seconds for 1 liter.

Besides the 2 different Filters. What are the pros and cons between the 2 designs?

Why does MSR even bother making the Miniworks EX?

  • @WannaPlaySumSKATE good point )))

  • For this price... It's the dumbest thing from MSR.

You can get a bottle with a filter for 10 times cheaper in Walmart.

And by the way, winter survivals dont filter water, they simply melt down the snow.

  • What temperature is that thing good till? Is it really winter proof? It says on the filter "do not freeze"

  • Whats the point if the filter doesnt remove viruses?? Just because it removes bacteria and protozoa doesnt mean the water is safe to drink! If you want to be 100% sure your drinking water is safe use a filter that removes viruses from the water like a First Need XL.....

  • I also agree that this video is too short, didn't really have much information in it. Hope

  • I love my HyperFlow!!I had to chg the filter after getting it.MSR send me a new one for free.
