If you are a young scout watching this video, don't think you are wrong, just because you have the intelligence to excel, just go back to the scout oath, andthe scout law. It will be right in every decision...in the long run, I promise.

I'm an Eagle, in that group that Obama is wanting to raise taxes on with respect to income, and frankly, I made it there through hard work, honest intentions, and well...everything I learned on my journey in scouting. Not everyone will, but that doesn't change my story. Thank you scouts.

Yeah, the bike crash looks funny in the video, but at the time it was pretty bad. Within a minute of the crash Chris' arm got a HUGE swelled up area -- like half a tennis ball in size. I was really, really worried it was serious and he'd have to leave the hike for medical reasons (on about day 4). But within about 15 minutes the swelling went back down. Big relief. We finished the trek.

I started off as a Tiger, I just finished my last merit badge and am starting to look for something to do for my Eagle Project. It's such a good feeling knowing that you've done all these things and that all these years are leading up to one moment, and that moment has almost arrived.

Good work, but don't slow down now! Find a project and get going on it!
Too many scouts let things slide after a while, and before they know it they've run out of time and turned 18 and never got their Eagle done.
