Our English class chose poems from Edgar Lee Masters' Spoon River Anthology and performed them in this video. After each poem, the person who said it fades and disappears. This video is set to traditional music from the Appalachian mountains.

  • Thanks, feel free to be critical, but first let me defend myself by saying that we literally threw this together (other than editing) in about two hours with no rehearsal or time to memorize our poems. We did our best, though. : )

  • This is excellent! The acting was really inspiring-- a great portrayal of each character. Thank you so sincerely for sharing! I really liked how each character faded to represent "death." Very powerful.

  • no one played harry wilmans :[

  • my first serious production is this. its tomorrow a dress rehearsal and sunday is the performance in new york. but if i can be critical of this please tell me. otherwise these poems are great and i like the fading idea.
