Let's Play Final Fantasy XI - Episode 1: Where's that friggin manual?

Hey guys, this is my first entry in what I hope will be a casual but ongoing Let's Play series. There's no real goal in mind, but I wanted to chronicle some highlights for people interested in this game. Unlike the other Let's Plays that I am planning, this one will not have releases based on any time of time schedule. It's going to be one of those "whenever I feel like playing it, I'll record the highlights with some commentary."

In this first episode, I'm just going over a few basics about the game and my main character in particular, Lothis. In the next video, I'm hoping to finish up the basics so that I can move on to something more interesting by the time I reach the third one.

mysticshadow73 can you play these final fantasy online game with ps3 and other system's they are on only or do i need a keyboard and how to set them up to play?.

@zjzenobiajoyner In order to play on a PS3, you need one that is compatible with PS2 games. The platforms this game was released for are PS2, Windows PC, and X-box 360 (it's also available on Steam but I don't know if that is strictly Windows PC or also Mac). If all you have is a controller, there is an on-screen keyboard, but I recommend having a keyboard.

@lokighost13 CoP did not introduce any new jobs, bro. SMN was a special job as it is the only job in the game that was not introduced with an expansion, instead it was introduced shortly before the release of Rise of the Zilart in Japan, and until the expansion came out, Carbuncle was the only summon available.
