Ach Gott, vom Himmel sieh darein
Und lass dich's doch erbarmen!
Wie wenig sind der Heilgen dein,
Verlassen sind wir Armen;
Dein Wort man nicht lässt haben wahr,
Der Glaub ist auch verloschen gar
Bei allen Menschenkindern.

ENGLISH (translation)
Ah God, look down from heaven
and still have mercy on us!
How few of the saints belong to you,
We poor wretches are forsaken,

I listen and love Bach's music since I was a child, time and again I play some JSB Music by piano and often I sing His music in a choir. Fantastic! I hope that I can still discover or at least rediscover Bach's music 30 years from now. Listening to a piece of Bach for the very first time can be such an incredible experience. I still remember the first time I heard the Brandenburg Concertos for the first time in 1996. It changed my musical experience forever!
