  • oh no, I liked Bunny so much!

  • The cook was being difficult about getting the items to make the cake due to rationing. While most countries were under rationing during W.W.II, it did not end in the U.K. until the 1950s. My grandparents had to get everyone in their small English village to save up all their sugar & butter rations so they could make a wedding cake otherwise they would not have been able to have one at their wedding.

  • In every Christie story, there's always at least one suspect I'd like to see murdered. Pip would get it in this one. What a useless lump.

  • @c2daj2dat I'm sorry. I am lost.Please explain.

  • oh yes...i remember reading this awwww i had to pause it @ 4:08 ,something we are so ill afforded to do in real life...she was so sweet (i'm hugging you, bunny)

  • @calihartley2010 that's RASINS or did you actually mean 'rash-ins'?

  • @ILoveTeaDogs Wow what a nice story. Does tell people of today how people in those years actually cared enought for your grandparents that they would save all their sugar and butter rations so that they could have their wedding cake and make their day special. Wonder if those people are still alive. A lesson for today's selfish crowd

  • @rabbitsmom Bunny's name is Dora Bunner. That's her last name that has been replaced by Bunny!

  • I believe "Bunny" is a diminutive for Barbara, but don't quote me.

  • BBC. The best in the world.

  • Anything with Samantha Bond is going to be good.

  • The cook reminds me of a Mel Brooks character. Even a birthday cake is melodramatic!
