@expressivechild I've never seen it anywhere, since the Olympics. I can't even remember who he was fighting. Some Eastern European, I think. But they showed it a few times back then. I wonder where you can find these things.

@expressivechild There are few people I would ever call "dumb as a doornail". Forrest Gump might have had something on him. I don't know if you saw the fight of his prior to this one in the Olympics. All I remember was Spinks getting hit hard and floored, but unlike normal people with brains, this made him mad. He came racing across the ring, his opponent with a look of mortal fear on his face, and floored him with one haymaker. It was one of the funniest things I've ever seen in boxing.

@fairalways - Well, I can't say he is being dumb. His harsh childhood probably ruined him, but then again he had his shot that many can only dream of and he threw it in the trash can. Man... Can't imagine that!

Leon Spinks is probably the most tragic heavyweight champion in history. From riches to rags... His downfall is completely unnecessary. Why would he threw his entire life away..
