Boomer was great. However if you look at his 1988 postseason stats he didn't do well. Their super bowl appearance, despite how much I respect Boomer, was due to the awesome play of the defense and the rushing attack. I watched those games, and the Bengals won despite him in the playoffs.

@dbreiden83080 Boomer was a NFL MVP, mutli time all-pro, multi time pro bowler, threw for over 35,000 yards, nearly 250 touchdowns, had an above 80 career qb rating, and is viewed as one the best play action fake qbs and underrated players of all time. I dont think thats the makings of a terrible qb. Sounds like a good qb. BTW this is coming from a Bears/Titans fan.

21:47 WTF? Whose car is that, and why is almost parked on the field?

Boomer was an awful QB. Just terrible..
-
this team had an impressive offense but the 99 titans, 04 eagles or 01 rams should have been on here not the bengals
-
@GialloHorror you are right on with those. I would especially like to see the 1970 or 1978 Cowboys.
-
Is there any reason why they haven't done a story on the Browns "missing rings" in 1986 or 1987? I hate the Eagles but the 1980 or 2004 team should be considered too.
-
@sam0498 They should also do the 1968 Colts, 1970 Cowboys and the 1983 Redskins.

Tim Krumrie's broken leg was one of the nastiest injuries I've ever seen. Right up there with Theismann's broken leg

Wow. Great story. I was age 17 during that Super Bowl. Joe Montana and the 49ers pulled it out somehow in the end.
Enough warnings!! Anyone Swearing will be Blocked. No 2nd chances...
