Sample Images from the Leica S2-P - Slideshow

The following is a quick little slideshow of some edited images that I took on my Leica S2-P. The images are for my thesis (masters of fine art degree candidate) and were taken in Yonkers, NY. The models featured are Emily Therese and Catherine Jones. Makeup for some of the images was done by Christina Vega.

Holy shit, what a bunch of shity pictures.

I am fairly sure that my smartphone could give these shots a run for their money.

And I could get much hotter looking girls to model.

I didn't know men with small penises would buy expensive cameras to compensate.

@prissweb you are entitled to your opinion, but to clarify my statement, if you have the money for this camera, aren't interested in purchasing hasselblad medium format cameras for the higher quality, and are just looking for a camera with a superior build and is new to shoot with then this would be a good buy for you. Indeed the camera doesn't make the photos any more aesthetically pleasing and the job of presenting a stimulating photo is the job of the photographer not the camera.

no its not. its for retarded people who think spending more on a camera will make their pictures better then everyone else. I pity them :)

@smalltownkid2004 While it takes skill to get good, these are supposedly for a masters degree thesis project. This person should be fucking great at what they do, unless their teacher's just been patting them on the head. The problem is that these photos look like the average teenager on deviant art. I understand that if one has money to buy/rent a camera of this caliber, it'd be very tempting, but more meaningful and iconic images have been captured with the likes of an iphone camera.

@jack0elias0fox Come on now... those images didn't say " Super Amateur " to me like you make it sound. The Camera is amazing... but it takes practice to get good. Some Professional photographers are complete dicks. I started out cheap and worked up, but that doesn't mean thats how it has to be at all. Try not to be so hard seriously.
