I played this piece at the military Tattoo Delft, the Netherlands in 1966, with the massed bands. Great and spectacullary.

Good band! Very solid sounding and fairly well-balanced. My only caveat with this recording is some of the tempos the conductor chose to take; I would have done some of them differently myself. But, if tempo is the biggest complaint that I can come up with, you're doing a lot of things right. :)
