  • @Qcumber Because you are ugly hearted!

The electric pillars symbolize economic development and the communist tyrant's vision for the future.

  • This is the song that I have been searching for in Karaoke menu for so many years! I learned this song in 1978 and had never heard of it from the media or friends around since then. However, I love it so much and remember the lyrics so well and still sing it when I am in a relaxed and pleasant mood. My daughter was able to tell that she heard of it from me when I showed her this video clip. I hope it can be listed as one of the selection in Karaoke menu some day.

  • The backgtound with the electric pillars is particularly ugly.

  • Great dance

  • LONG LIVE TO THE COMUNISM!

  • Golden Voice!!!!

  • I wholly disagree with respect to the choreography. This is my favorite - above that of RDW and WHG. It is revolutionary (pardon the pun) in the plot line, the interplay between the leads, the way the ballet takes elements of Mongolian ethnic dance and the diverse choreographic language. My auntie danced the lead in RDW. She concurs this is more challenging. Just about any company can do RDW or WHG. There is a reason why no company has attempted this ballet in the past 30 years.

  • This song is definitely a beautiful one, but the ballet in its entirety is uninteresting compared to "Red Detachment of Women" and "The White-Haired Girl".
