Street Working Children in Indonesia 7 Child Vendors

Interviews with children selling things in the streets.

This documentary (the 7th of 7 parts) is a fundraising project for Sanggar Alang Alang, dedicated to promoting the well-being of street children and their families in Makassar, Sulawesi, Indonesia, so that children will grow up free of physical, sexual, and emotional abuse and all forms of neglect.

To understand what these children are earning, one American dollar is currently worth about 9,000 rupiahs (the Indonesian Currency), so Rp5,000 is worth about 55 cents.

saya setuju dengan program ber-KB !! menurut saya itu adalah solusi yang tepat untuk mengurangi anak jalanan dan terlantar di Indonesia.program ber-KB menurut saya,lebih tepat dilaksanakan di kalangan orang2 tak mampu.mengapa?dengan jumlah pendapatan yang minim,bagaimana mereka bisa memberi makan dan menyekolahkan anak2 mereka dengan layak?sedangkan untuk makan sehari-hari aja mereka sulit.jadi galakkan kembali program KB diantara kalangan tak mampu..

I was consider one of the kids in indonesia that have to work for my needs. Thru D Grace of God , i was able to get out of indonesian country n now living in the U.S. I'm going back there as often as i can to start doing something for the unfortunate kids there. I dont have alot, but i will start something, one child at a time. so don't say we can't do much, u can, and anyone can, if they would just start. will u eradicate poverty? no, but do it for the good that is left in ur heart.

Stop "WISHING" and start doing something..there are plenty u can do... If U R an indonesian decent, start doing something, anything, dont just stay there n wish... little things is better than wishing.

I wish i was out there helping others im sick of my life i have lived mine had money, done many things singing songwriting, computers, breakdancing, Paragliding, ice skating and would love to teachothers talens they can earn money from or to offer a better life for them.

Awesome vid, thanx for sharin' mbatang! when ppl. look for bargains(just human nature) they are actually fomentin'exploitation of their fellow man, so true, same thing happenin' in my country, parents aren't to blame, cuz the more children they have, the more money flows into their purses!
