@MaLoTengo trusmi is famous place of batik making. but i havent gone there yet :)
and i read from newspaper too that Mrs. SBY (the short call of her) visited trusmi.
have u gone to Imogiri, a village in Yogyakarta? it is well-known as good place to make hand drawn batik. also the view is beautiful.

@myAsifmyAsif Oh,really??I've been to Pekalongan only one time in 2005. And I had stayed in Cirebon (Trusmi)this past February for one month! Do you know Bapak Katura? I stayed his house and learned batik again.Then President's wife came to Trusmi,I talked with her! Of cause I'll go to Jawa It's not for sure when I can go though....

Basically I buy batik tools in Jawa,so unfortunately I don't know that kind of web site.
However,if you live in Japan,you can get some tools for wax dying at shops.
Maybe just cantin,you can buy at Asian goods web site as a kind of souvenir.
I'm sorry less infomation....
