Video Stress Test Settings:
1280x1024, 8xQAA, 8xAF, transparency AA(Super-Sampling Mode). There is no audio in this video. The result (without Fraps recording) was ~230fps!

  • 230fps ;/ ? i watch a vid on geforce 8800GTX and 16Qx AA and Af16 and all max out and he got 90fps lol that must be bullshit tbh 230fps

  • seahawk4life used 16xQAA + 1800x1440, this is just 1280x1024, 8xQAA and 8xAF, which makes a HUGE difference. Seems plausible indeed to me.

  • Exactly! Thing is, I cant test higher unless i go and buy a new display. My max resolution on both screens ist 1280x1024.

  • I tried the stress test in the Source SDK base.

    It give's around 50\60 FPS with everything at max.

    I have a ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650, With 512 MB. But 230 FPS? Wow...

  • I got a 220 average with a intel q9300 quad and a ATI 4870.

  • I get 227fps a 1600x1200

  • YEAH! well with my ATI Radeon 7000 i get 15.4 FPS and half of it dont show!!! lol thats why im buying the 8800 320mb i cant even play CS:S

  • he has a Geforce 8800GTX and he recorded it using a program called FRAPS
